I was originally introduced to this after Zara from Mouldy Fruit‘s many raves about it.
I used to be slightly scared of a bright red lip, opting for pink and nude shades instead. The vision of red lipstick smeared across my face or on my teeth was enough to put me off.
However, on my last visit to Sephora when I was over in the States, I felt obliged to at least give it a go. I pretty much trust anything Zara recommends…
I am SO glad that I got this amazing lip stain. 01 Always Red is the perfect shade of red for my skintone and it DOES NOT BUDGE! I can literally eat a whole meal and it still looks perfect after.
It has a matte finish but isn’t particularly drying on the lips. After applying my favourite Nuxe Reve De Miel lip balm and a lip pencil underneath and I’m good to go for the day.
Whenever I wear this I get stopped at least twice by people asking what I am wearing. It’s literally a showstopper and I am now a red lip convert. Thanks Sephora!
With 16 shades to choose from, I’m dying to try the other shades too!
