Here we have another addition to the Soap & Glory ‘Sexy Mother’ range. As well as the Sexy Mother Pucker lip products, they now a cream blush too. Soap & Glory describe it as ‘a long lasting, vibrant cream blusher that glides effortlessly onto the cheeks with intense colour and a creamy finish’.
I got the Sexy Mother Blusher in ‘Berry Jamm’. It also comes in a lighter pink shade ‘Pinker Belle’ and a peachy shade called ‘Onamatopeacha’ (see what they did there?!).
They definitely got it right saying that it has an intense colour. This blusher is very pigmented so be very light handed when you apply it or you will end up looking like a clown – like my first experience with this. I used a combination of my fingers, my beauty blender and a Real Techniques Blush Brush to blend this is in to my cheeks. It has a creamy consistency which leaves a nice sheen on the skin. Don’t worry it’s not a shine, just a dewey sheen-perfect for that natural flush of colour. It can be blended out for a more subtle finish or built up for a real pop of colour to the cheeks.
As you can see, the creamy consistency allows you to really sheer the colour out.
I think that once you get the hang of the application, it will be a good one to throw into your bag for a quick makeup fix throughout the day. Or just set it with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray to keep it in place all day.
I’m going to have to give the Sexy Mother Pucker range a go now. Really I’m just a sucker for the Soap & Glory packaging!
