It’s no secret that I am slightly obsessed with lipsticks. Recently I’ve been all over liquid lipsticks. There’s something about knowing that you can apply your lip colour and be good to go for the day without wondering if it has worn off. The matte formulas leave a pretty good kick of colour too and I’m all about that statement lip.
I’ve heard a lot of hype about Gerard cosmetics, so I thought it was my duty to try some of their lipsticks out for you (that’s me justifying my purchases, I do that a lot). I tried to stray away from my usual nudes, plums and pinks and go for deeper, darker shades – stepping out of my comfort zone here! I was impressed with the formula of the liquid lipsticks – long lasting, pigmented and not overly drying. Of course I popped a lip balm on before applying them. The lipsticks weren’t as impressive, pretty standard formulas but nice shades and pigmentation.
I’ve applied them all for you to get a better idea of what they look like on the lips.
