It’s that time of year again when we have to rack our brains and find the perfect gifts for our nearest and dearest. I’ve put together a few of my top picks that I hope will put a smile on your loved ones faces.
Let’s face it, as a Nation, we drink a hell of a lot of tea! So you can’t really go wrong with a mug. I like this handcrafted one from Nom Living. The mixed clay gives it a marbled look – perfect for Instagram shots. The collection also comes in other colours and includes whole tea sets, trays and bowls. Something for everyone!
I don’t know about you, but at this time of year I constantly have a candle burning. There’s just something about the comforting scent and cosy atmosphere that a candle creates. I’ve been enjoying Lola Darcy‘s 100% natural clean-burning soy wax candle infused with the delicious scent of Pink Champagne and Raspberries. Their candles come beautifully packaged too so expect extra brownie points for that.
I gave up on carrying around those huge wallets a while ago. I mean do we really need every single loyalty card with us all day every day? I think not. I now simply use a card holder and a coin purse. This leather gold and pink wallet is perfect for me – big enough for all of my essentials and snazzy enough to put a smile on my face whenever I pull it out. Sarah Baily‘s handmade collection ranges from bright metallic biker jackets to clutch bags complete with punchy one liners. Let’s call it cheeky chic. I basically want everything that she does. Another bonus is that the wallets can be personalised. One for everybody?
I really enjoyed Sali Hughes‘ last book ‘Pretty Honest‘ and I truly believe that no beauty lovers dressing table is complete without her latest offering ‘Pretty Iconic‘. Sali takes us on a journey looking at iconic beauty products that have changed the world. It took me back to my childhood and the beginning of my obsession with all things beauty. It actually made me feel quite nostalgic and emotional. Coloured hair mascara is discussed and if that isn’t a throwback to my Spice Girls loving days I don’t know what is! Buy a stash of these and give them to all the lovely ladies in your life.
Why not personalise your loved ones’ favourite fragrance? I love anything personalised, it makes a gift that much more special knowing that it was made just for you. The Perfume Shop engraves a range of perfumes for both men and women. Another personalised perfume idea is Boots’ ‘scent story‘. The scent story book can be personalised with your chosen name along with a personal message. As well as your chosen perfume, you also get two deluxe mini fragrances. But hurry, the last day to order for Christmas delivery is 15th December!
MARC JACOBS UP ALL NIGHT LIPSTICK SET
It’s no secret that I’m a lipstick addict. I’m also a huge fan of Marc Jacobs. So Marc Jacobs lipsticks are pretty much a dream come true. And they’re minis. Tick tick and TICK! The ‘Up All Night’ Petite Lip Crème Makeup Gift Set houses five little lipsticks in a pink clutch complete with a tassel. Because it wouldn’t be Marc Jacobs without a tassel would it?
I love everything I’ve tried from Pixi. I usually lean towards their Skintreats skincare collection (I swear by their Glow Tonic), but I thought that considering it’s Christmas I should include some shimmer in the mix. This duo of highlighter and blush comes with a kabuki brush in a cute box making it a little easier to wrap! This Peach Honey shade doubles up as a bronzer, but it also comes in Rose Gold for those who prefer a rosy glow.
Prismologie is for those who enjoy the finer things in life. These products are formulated with powdered gemstones and harness the healing power of crystals as well as colour therapy. Their Jade & Vetiver bath oil is perfect for those who like to indulge in their bath time. Paired with the Ruby & Cedarwood dry body oil, your loved ones skin will be in absolute heaven.
Stella & Dot’s Protective Eye Wishing Bracelet represents strength, positivity and protection. Its adjustable strap means that you don’t have to worry about sizing. Their range also includes bracelets that promote love and harmony. Perfect stocking fillers!
I have been rocking a beanie pretty much everyday since Winter hit. I like this simple black one from TWO, a London streetwear label that believes that gender in fashion is fluid. Their #Madeforboth philosophy looks beyond gender and their designs flirt with feminine and masculine styles, drawing influence from the streets. They also have brightly coloured old skool throwback patterned sweatshirts, perfect for both guys AND girls.
So there you have it, those are my Christmas gift suggestions. I hope that I have cut down your thinking time and that you might have found something suited to the special people in your life.
Have you got any Christmas gift picks? I still haven’t done my Christmas shopping!
